About Us

Rachel Settles, DC

Dr. Rachel hails from The Land of Enchantment, where she grew up in Bloomfield, a small town near the Four Corners in New Mexico. Athletics were a key part of her life growing up, which allowed her the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level in both softball and golf. She attended Arizona State University and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2003.

A desire for a career change prompted Dr. Settles to pursue her life long dream of becoming a chiropractor. She attended the esteemed Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida located in Port Orange. She now resides in Wesley Chapel and serves the surrounding communities.

Dr. Settles is a family chiropractor, primarily focused on pregnancy and pediatrics. She is currently pursuing a diplomate in pediatrics through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (I.C.P.A.). Her chiropractic philosophy is simple: treat the problem rather than mask the symptoms. She believes regular chiropractic adjustments allow individuals to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. An adjustment helps the body’s innate intelligence be the guide to its own healing.

Dr. Settles utilizes numerous techniques to provide the best care for each individual patient, and she takes a gentle approach to help patients improve their health. Dr. Settles’s primary chiropractic techniques include Gonstead, Diversified, SOT, Activator, Thompson, and the Webster Technique. She looks at each patient as a whole, often coming up with a chiropractic and nutritional protocol to fit individual needs. Dr. Settles regularly uses instrument assisted soft tissue modalities and kinesio tape to boost the effectiveness of a chiropractic adjustment, and to aid in the healing of soft tissue injuries.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling the globe, scuba diving with sharks, photography, and cheering on the Denver Broncos.

Dr. Rachel is excited to provide a sense of community by bringing like-minded families together in the Tampa area, and to help them achieve optimal health and wellness in a natural way.
